General Information

No Seller Fees: Aircraft Part Mart does not charge any commission fees to sellers for the sale of their item. All sellers will receive the full amount the item was sold for.

Subscription Packages (Optional)

To increase your listing visibility, you can opt for one of our affordable subscription packages:

  • Premium: £10 for 15 additional listings.
  • Deluxe: £15 for 25 additional listings.
  • Featured Products: £2.50 per item to be featured.

Buyer Protection Fee

A small buyer protection fee of 3% + 45p is applied to each purchase. This fee helps protect buyers against issues such as damaged goods during shipping or orders that do not materialize. This fee is the sole responsibility of the buyer and all proceeds go solely to Aircraft Part Mart Ltd.

Sellers Admin Fee

To ensure a secure and reliable platform for all our sellers, a small admin fee of 3% + 45p is applied when purchasing any listing subscription or if you pay to have your item “featured” on our site. This fee allows us to invest in platform improvements, enhance security measures, and provide dedicated support, ultimately benefiting your selling experience.

Transaction Fees

Sellers are responsible for any transaction fees charged by the payment processor used for transactions (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).

Transparent Pricing

All fees, including the optional subscription fees and any applicable buyer protection fees, are clearly disclosed to both buyers and sellers upfront.

Sellers Policies

1. Product Quality Standards

  • Accurate Representation: Sellers are obligated to accurately describe their products in all aspects, including:
    • Condition: Clearly state the condition of the item (e.g., new, used, refurbished, damaged).
    • Functionality: Disclose any known defects, malfunctions, or limitations.
    • Origin: Indicate the origin of the part (e.g., OEM, aftermarket, salvaged).
    • Airworthiness: If applicable, clearly state the airworthiness status of the part (e.g., CAA, FAA approved).
  • Photos: Provide high-quality photos that accurately represent the item’s condition and any existing damage.
  • Compliance: Ensure all products comply with all applicable aviation regulations and safety standards.

2. Acceptable Product Categories

  • Aircraft Parts:
    • Engines and engine components
    • Airframes and airframe components
    • Avionics
    • Instruments
    • Landing gear
    • Electrical systems
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatics
    • Propellers
    • And other aircraft-related parts and components.
  • Pilot Equipment:
    • Any items for use by pilots e.g. clothing, accessories, tools
    • Prohibited Items:
      • Counterfeit parts: Any parts that are not genuine or have been illegally reproduced.
      • Stolen parts: Any parts obtained or sold illegally.
      • Hazardous materials: Any items that are considered hazardous materials (e.g., explosives, flammable liquids).
      • Items that are illegal to sell or possess: Any items that are prohibited by law or regulation.

    3. Return Policies

    • Seller Responsibility: Sellers are responsible for establishing and clearly communicating their own return policies for their products.
    • Policy Requirements: Seller return policies must be:
      • Clear and concise: Easy for buyers to understand.
      • Fair and reasonable: Consider industry standards and best practices.
      • Clearly displayed: Visible to buyers on the product listing page.
    • Typical Return Policy Considerations:
      • Return window: The timeframe within which returns are accepted.
      • Return conditions: Acceptable reasons for returns (e.g., item not as described, damaged in transit).
      • Restocking fees: Any applicable fees for returned items.
      • Shipping costs: Who is responsible for return shipping costs (buyer or seller).
    • Dispute Resolution: Sellers are expected to cooperate with buyers to resolve any return-related disputes fairly and efficiently.

    4. Seller Obligations

    • Order Fulfillment:

      • Arrange and fulfill shipping in a timely manner.
      • Provide accurate tracking information to buyers.
    • Customer Service:
      • Respond to buyer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
      • Maintain excellent communication with buyers throughout the entire transaction.

    5. Platform Rules

    • Account Responsibility: Sellers are responsible for maintaining the security of their Seller accounts and for all activities that occur under their accounts.
    • Platform Rules: Sellers agree to comply with all Aircraft Part Mart platform rules and guidelines.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aircraft Part Mart platform (“Platform”), including any website, mobile application, or other online interface, as a Seller (“you,” “your”) to list and sell secondhand aircraft parts and equipment.   • Seller Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Seller account information and for restricting access to your computer.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when listing items on the Platform, including product descriptions, pricing, and availability.
  • Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to consumer protection laws, data protection laws (e.g., UK GDPR), and aviation regulations.
  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:
    • List any items that are illegal, counterfeit, or infringing on any third-party intellectual property rights.
    • Misrepresent the condition or origin of any item.
    • Engage in any deceptive or fraudulent activities.
    • Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

2. Listing and Selling Items

  • Listing Requirements: You are responsible for accurately and completely describing each item you list on the Platform, including:
    • Product name and description
    • Condition of the item (e.g., new, used, refurbished)
    • Any applicable warranties or disclaimers
    • Shipping information and costs
    • Return policy
  • Pricing: You are solely responsible for setting the price for your items.
  • Order Fulfillment: You are responsible for fulfilling all orders placed for your items, including:
    • Processing payments
    • Arranging and fulfilling shipping
    • Handling returns and refunds according to your stated policy
  • Customer Service: You are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all buyers.

3. Payment Processing

  • Payment Gateway: Aircraft Part Mart provides access to a payment gateway for processing payments for your sales.
  • Payment Processing Fees: Aircraft Part Mart may charge transaction fees for each successful sale processed through the Platform. The applicable fees will be disclosed to you prior to listing your items.
  • Payment Disbursements: Payments for your sales will be disbursed to you according to the payment schedule and terms outlined by Aircraft Part Mart.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Product Listings: You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in and to your product listings and the content you provide on the Platform.
  • Platform Content: Aircraft Part Mart retains all intellectual property rights in and to the Platform and its contents, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, and patents.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Platform Functionality: Aircraft Part Mart does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Platform or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Sales Success: Aircraft Part Mart makes no guarantees regarding the number of sales you will generate through the Platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aircraft Part Mart and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your sale of items through the Platform, including any claims by buyers.

Use Of The Auction Function

  • Accurate Descriptions: Sellers are responsible for providing accurate and complete descriptions of all items listed for auction, including:
    • Product Name and Description: Clear and concise description of the item, including part number, manufacturer, model, and any relevant specifications.
    • Condition: Accurate assessment of the item’s condition (e.g., new, used, refurbished, serviceable, not serviceable, parts missing). Clearly disclose any known defects, damage, or limitations.
    • Airworthiness: If applicable, clearly state the airworthiness status of the part (e.g., PMA, FAA approved, serviceable, not serviceable).
    • Origin: Indicate the origin of the part (e.g., OEM, aftermarket, salvaged).
    • Photos: Provide high-quality and representative photos of the item from multiple angles, clearly showing its condition and any defects.
  • Reserve Prices (if applicable): If a reserve price is set, it must be clearly disclosed to potential bidders.
  • Shipping Information: Clearly state shipping options, estimated costs, and any restrictions (e.g., shipping dimensions, weight limitations).
  • Terms of Sale: Clearly outline the terms of sale, including payment methods accepted, payment deadlines, shipping arrangements, and any applicable warranties or disclaimers.
  • Auction Duration: Sellers are responsible for setting appropriate auction durations to allow for adequate bidding activity.
  • Bid Increments: Sellers may suggest or recommend bid increments, but these are not binding.
  • Communication with Bidders: Sellers may communicate with potential bidders regarding their items, but such communication must be fair and transparent to all bidders.
  • Misrepresentation:** Sellers are prohibited from misrepresenting any aspect of their listed items, including their condition, history, or value.
  • Payment Processing: Sellers are responsible for processing payments from winning bidders according to the terms of sale.
  • Order Fulfillment: Sellers are responsible for fulfilling all orders resulting from their auctions, including:
    • Promptly shipping the item(s) according to the agreed-upon terms.
    • Providing accurate and timely shipping information to the buyer.
    • Addressing any buyer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Platform Provision: Aircraft Part Mart provides the platform for Sellers to list and auction their items.
  • Buyer Protection:** Aircraft Part Mart may implement measures to protect buyers, such as verifying seller identity and monitoring auction activity for suspicious behavior.
  • Dispute Resolution:** Aircraft Part Mart may assist in mediating disputes between Sellers and Buyers, but does not assume any liability for the resolution of such disputes.
  • Aircraft Part Mart makes no warranties or representations regarding the quality, condition, or authenticity of any items listed for auction.
  • Aircraft Part Mart does not guarantee the success of any auction or the sale of any listed item.
  • Aircraft Part Mart does not assume any responsibility for any losses or damages incurred by Sellers or Buyers as a result of any auction conducted on the Platform.
In no event shall Aircraft Part Mart be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or loss of use, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the Auction platform by Sellers, even if Aircraft Part Mart has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
